c't

From Stephan Ehrmann, "...the German computer magazine c't has published a detailed review about the new Power Macintosh G3 and PowerBook G3 systems. You may find the English translation ... [here and] ... respectivly ... [here]." The PowerMac G3's rate about like a 9600/300 on most parameters, beat a 9600/200 on virtually all, are beaten handily by a Pentium II in interger calculations and just as handily beat the PII in floating point calculations. The PowerBook G3 blows away the fastest 233 MHz Pentium notebook.
