Day 17

Thought I'd forgotten about BMW's CyberDrive in all the Mac OS 8 excitement? What, you'd hoped so? No way, I really want to win that Z3. On Day 17 (last Thursday), I picked up a 750iL to go to foreign language class. A web language translator from French to Mandarin was demo-ed. On Day 18, I had no choice except a 750iL again. The feature was a live concert webcast from the Old First Presbyterian Church in San Francisco called "A Little Night Music". Yesterday, Day 19, featured a trip to Paris and, of course, I picked a 2.8-liter Z3 for a tour of the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe, some great food and a ride on the Paris underground. It was interesting but pretty slow on a Quadra 605 with a 14.4K modem.
