Hayes sent me a reminder that July 31st, Thursday, is the last day to sign up for their $99 upgrade to a 56K Hayes modem. If one has already signed up, its a 6-8 week wait for an RMA number to make the exchange. I signed up the first day that one could for a Mac modem, some 9 weeks ago, and no RMA yet. I'm patient since my ISP hasn't upgraded yet either and I've got a Zoom K56Flex.
