MacWEEK reported that NewerTECH released a 183 Mhz 603e CPU card for the 500-series PowerBook. Having used a PB 540c for four years, I am not impressed. The slow hard drive and system bus will choke this CPU's performance appreciably. If anyone gets one of these, please email me info on the resulting performance.
