Macworld's article describes the "Kansas" and "Gossamer" Macs (266-350 MHz CPU, fast cache, 66 MHz system bus, near-CHRP) from Apple. It also speculates on Apple's potential use of its certification process to get these fast Macs to market before the licensed clonemakers. Have you seen any Mac clones with the 275 Mhz or 300 Mhz 603e's used in Apple's new 6500's? Actually, I haven't seen either of these on shelves locally.
