On Saturday, I finally got my November issue of Macworld. This is the first issue combined with the former MacUser Magazine. My subscription now runs through March of 2003!

Are you aware that you can get super download speeds with 33.6K modems through what is called multiplexing? With multiple phone lines, each with their dedicated modem, and an ISP that handles multilink PPP connections you can get speeds of 67.2K with two or 100.8K with three connections. I am not sure that a collection of multiple phone lines with multiple modems and multilink PPP software is cheaper than ISDN but since ISDN service is metered, multiplexing could be cheaper for high volume users. Here's a good link to check multiplexing out.
