RealPlayer v5.0
Reader Jim Stoneburner wrote that installing and registering the new RealPlayer v5.0 noted yesterday may have caused his Netscape Communicator v4.04 preference file to become corrupted. He trashed the old and installed a backup. RealPlayer and Communicator then worked fine.
