MacBench 4.0 Performance

I ran MacBench 4.0 on my PowerBase with the PowerLogix PowerForce G3 250. The Mac OS 8.0 and Mac Os 8.1 scores are virtually the same but the finder and applications seem faster. Others noted this to me as well.

More CompUSA/Apple stores are under construction: Plano, TX (Charles Holcomb) and Richmond, VA (Eddie Williams). Eddie mentioned that the Richmond store claimed to have advertised for Mac salespersons and got one applicant--this may be a reason for the lack of Mac sales people around the country as it costs extra to train someone.

Dana Baggett noted that price of the Sonnet Crescendo 604 CPU card for 6100 and 611x Macs has dropped by half in the March issue of Macworld to $199.
