From XLR8's Amy Mullen, "The XLR8 Product Division of Interex announced today that its patent pending CarrierZIF Universal Upgrade Adapter is a finalist in the prestigious 1999 Macworld Eddy Awards. The XLR8 CarrierZIF is nominated as the exclusive CPU-based finalist in the category of "Best Acceleration Product of the Year", along with two video accelerators."
