after the August issue according to this NEWS.COM article. CMP offered Windows to subscribers of Byte which it closed down after buying it a year ago last May. This action leaves Byte subscribers, who elected to accept Windows in lieu of a refund, high and dry once again. CMP, recently bought by United News & Media, has no other printed publications available on newsstands according to NEWS.COM.
