to v2.2.4b1 mentioned yesterday is available for download (103 KB). The patch: "Fixed a bug in RAVE code that caused extreme slowdowns when other players used the shield belt and were on screen. Fixed Mac OS Speech option (turn this on/off from Advanced Options, under Display)."
