Mac OS 8.6 Release Very Near

Apple's Mac OS Up-To-Date program is the subject of a new Apple Tech Info Letter release. The Up-to-date Program permits a $19.95 Mac OS update within 180 days of the purchase of a new Mac if the Mac was purchased within 30 days of the OS release, except for the special deal on iMacs for 8.5--got that? This TIL may also portend a CD version of Mac OS 8.6 since the updater will be a 33 MB download. A CD with the complete version of Mac OS 8.6 would be very helpful for those nasty clean installs.
