Phil Schiller, VP for Worldwide Marketing, demoed voice recognition logon, the shopping capabilities of Sherlock 2 and AppleScript over TCP/IP by pulling images off a computer in New York with a secure keychain connection.

Steve also gave an update on Apple and QuickTime, including QuickTime TV, as noted by Brian Nakamoto, "Phil Schiller showed off live streaming of the Star Wars trailer with awesome sound. I viewed the keynote by cable internet using QuickTime 4.
