MacAmp v1.0 Preview Edition [Updated]

"@soft has unveiled MacAMP 1.0: Preview Edition, to become available on Saturday, July 17th here. This preview will showcase many of the features of the 1.0 release of MacAMP, due out in September. The 1.0 shareware release will be priced at a low 25 USD (an additional USD 5 discount for registered owners of MacAmp Lite). MacAMP has been rewritten from the ground up to provide new features and enhanced stability. MacAMP allows you to play many of your favorite sound types, especially MP3 files. It can also play CD Audio, MP1, MP2, and internet streaming audio through both Shoutcast and Icecast streams, with more sound types arriving soon. To encode your own MP3s, we recommend the freeware, MPecker Encoder, available here. MP3 files are also available on the internet for free or nominal fees."
