Rio MP3 Player Coming Soon!

From Dr. Greg Winters, "This tip is for all those music fans out there who saw the July Macworld article on MP3, which stated that the one area of the MP3 revolution that Mac fans can't enjoy is the portable MP3 player area. The only player that works with the Mac that is currently shipping is from a German firm called Pontis. The leader in MP3 players, Diamond Multimedia currently only makes a Windows version. I contacted Diamond Multimedia's customer service and customer feedback divisions asking about a Mac version of their Rio MP3 player for the Mac and they replied: "your request has been heard and i don't believe you will need to wait long ... thanks" Sounds like the Rio MP3 player for the Mac may be available for purchase soon. But, is the exact definition of soon, corporate time or real time? At any rate, it looks like the Rio Player for the Mac will be made."
