Seybold Seminars San Francisco 1999 Report

from Brian Nakamoto,

Mac fans in the design & publishing industry remember when Seybold, the conference for Apple's core audience, was just another Macworld for us. However, when Apple's stock price was trading at a bargin (today: 65; 45 minutes before market close), Microsoft's bland colors started to creep onto the show floor. Even Adobe was using beige Wintel boxes to demo Photoshop!

"This industry is no longer boring" - Adobe Chairman & CEO, Dr. John E. Warnock commented in a live appearance referring to what Apple & Steve Jobs have brought back to the design & publishing industry.

I am extremely happy to report that Seybold is Macworld in September once again! Most of the booths, including Adobe's, are back in the Mac.
