Adobe InDesign v1.5 Updates
We posted four reports from the Macworld Expo show floor on Friday and over the weekend. They've been kept below to ease perusal. We also posted 24 photos (images reduced to 640x480 to speed downloading) in a photo gallery in a matter of minutes using iTools' revised HomePage and later easily updated it. [7:45p] Macworld Keynote in a QuickTime Movie is available here for those who want to see and hear it. If you are at all curious about the facts in the tempest-in-a-teapot over what appears now to have been a bogus ATI press release that went out over BusinessWire before the keynote, you can see and hear Steve Jobs say that there are Rage 128 Pro graphics across the product line up--does that sound like anger or an endorsement? The ATI Radeon graphics card is not even due out until September so why would Jobs even mention it in the first place since the G4 MPs are available right now? As for Jobs banning ATI from the show floor, ATI was not even scheduled to have a booth according to the program printed before the incident and Apple doesn't own the show. Finally, there was a huge ATI Radeon banner flying over the entrance hall all week--see Macs Only!'s photo gallery. Jobs "anger" doesn't extend to bringing down huge banners? Give me a break!
[1:00a] Macworld Expo--Macs Only!'s Photo Gallery: I made the 24-photo gallery with iTools HomePage in about 7 minutes. However, it took about 20 minutes to bring up iDisk and transfer all the images to the Pictures folder.
