Here's a really neat freeware application, a "must-have" for anyone with a dialup modem connection who downloads those huge Netscape updates, etc. late at night. As soon as all download processes are complete (or if the connection with the server(s) is interrupted) , Download Watcher 1.0 will either shut down your Mac, put it to sleep (iBook, PowerBook) or just disconnect from the Internet. [1:30p 8/6] Netscape 6 PR1 Expired. Where's PR2? From Dana Baggett, "Those of us who are using Netscape 6 PR1 are getting expired messages. No, not the users. The version. A "time bomb version" message promises to take us to a page where we can download the newer version. But, it's not there yet. Oops. Navigator 6 PR 1 still works. You just have to dismiss the notice and go about your business.

Mozilla Milestone 16 for Mac is available for download from mozilla.org if one is curious about what changes from PR1 are in the offing. The 'nightly builds' of Mozilla are up to v.18. All of which seems to indicate that Netscape 6 PR2 isn't far away."
