Imation SuperDisk Drive Works Again

As mentioned on Macs Only! Wednesday, I installed the new drivers v3.2 and the SDD worked fine although special SDD drivers aren't needed with Mac OS 9. Then I tried to update the SDD ROM and it failed mid-update rendering my SDD useless. I was going to call Imation Customer Support but Dana Baggett reminded me that using specific SDD drivers with Mac OS 9 can cause problems although v3.2 worked fine before attempting the ROM update. Several other readers suggested disabling the new drivers. So I did and the SDD now works fine again despite the ROM update failure.
