Macworld Expo Keynote, The Summer's Main Event

is just hours away. Steve Jobs' keynote is promising to be the blockbuster that everyone is hoping for. Hints and slips are everywhere, from yesterday's financial report to a BusinessWire blurb from the graphics chip/card maker ATI. Apple CFO Fred Anderson did a great job of whetting everyone's appetite for today's keynote by mentioning the need for refreshed products, indicating that revenues will increase in the fourth quarter as a result of new products and deferring questions until today's financial conference call saying "tomorrow you will be impressed...." A CNet article mentions the ATI press release which states:

"In a keynote, wait for Apple to announce three new systems with ATI graphics in them. One will be an iMac with the RAGE 4XL chip, the remaining two are PowerMacs, which will ship with RAGE 128 PRO standard and RADEON."

Keep tuned. We will post a summary right after Steve Jobs' keynote finishes.
