* The function is for faster mail checking!
* avoid complexity of "Preferences" or "Settings."
* fastest performance of all e-mail client software.
* work under less memory than other e-mail software and 750KB of application size."
I downloaded a copy and tried it out. Magellan was extremely easy to configure, picking up all the settings it needed from Internet Config. The viewer worked great with just a click to instantly view the contents of the email. Magellan worked with our LDAP mail server even though it only had POP3 configuration fields. It wasn't readily apparent how to import an address book from Outlook Express or connect to a LAN directory so I left them for another time. Magellan seems expensive at $80 but give it a try for yourself. I think you'll like it especially if you trade emails in multiple languages.
