Microsoft Will Charge Office:mac 2001 Owners For Carbonized Upgrade

Office:mac 2001 is a very nice package but, in our opinion, insufficiently better than Office 98 to support a nearly $300 upgrade price only to be followed by another upgrade cost for a Carbonized version. Mac OS X is terrific so if you are going to upgrade to it and already have a copy of Office 98, we recommend waiting for the Carbonized version of Office:mac 2001. [Dana Baggett]
