MobShop.Com, An Interesting Way to Buy

Yesterday, I spotted a deal on dealmac.com, a 32 MB SmartMedia card for my Olympus 340R for only $54.95 ($57-110 on Shopper.Com). I have been struggling with two 8 MB cards. The deal led me to MobShop.Com, an interesting concept. A fixed number of each item is sold "in bulk" and the price goes down as more people sign up to buy during the period that the item is offered for sale. Once you sign up to buy, you get the item at that price or lower if more people buy before the time period closes. Like auctions, there is a lot of buying at the last minute but there is a fixed number of each item so you may get shut out if you wait too long and all are sold. UPS ground shipping is free.
