QuickTime 4.1/Audio CD Issue

From Scott Smith, "I wondered if you have been hearing any reports of a problem (that seems to be linked to QuickTime 4.1) where CD Audio drops out briefly when performing many Finder tasks or any application tasks that access the hard drive. I have been plagued by this problem on my G4 (PCI) under Mac OS 9 ever since I installed 4.1. I have noticed some scattered reports of this condition across the web, but since Apple didn't include mention of it in the update to its 'QuickTime 4.1 Known Issues' TIL article (updated today here), I am concerned that it may not be corrected in the forthcoming QT update to fix other problems (such as the VR Hotspots problem)."
