is available using the "Update check" selection in the popup menu of the QuickTime Settings control panel or by clicking the QuickTime Updater in the QuickTime 5 folder. Most, but not all, of the v5.0a13 QuickTime elements are replace by v5.0b2 elements. Ignore the dialog boxes about incompatible versions since they disappear with the restart. [Dana Baggett]
