TCP/IP *Slower* than AppleTalk for Mac OS 9 File Sharing

according to this test posted on MacWindows. At 16K the speed difference is three times and at 100K or larger the difference is about 40 per cent. Mac OS 9's File Sharing control panel allows implementation of TCP/IP by checking a box in front of "Enable File Sharing Clients to connect over TCP/IP" on the Start/Stop tab.
