XLR8 demonstrates MACh Carrier G4 MPe and CarrierZIF MPe

XLR8 demonstrated the next generation of its award winning CarrierZIF technology, the CarrierZIF MPe and MACh Carrier G4 MPe Macintosh processor upgrade cards. Formerly announced as the CarrierZIF 2.0, the CarrierZIF MPe is now optimized to support future multi-processing with the addition of a dual processor card expected to ship later this year. MPe is an acronym for multi-processing enabled, and is not implemented by any other ZIF upgrade card on the market today.

CopyAgent by Connectix Announced: Connectix CopyAgent is a software application for the Macintosh that automates and streamlines backups and copy jobs. Connectix CopyAgent can copy up to two times faster when performing a backup over a network. In addition to a multitude of personal data management capabilities, CopyAgent also includes TurboKeys, a utility that allows users to input commands using their keyboard instead of their mouse and allows user to assign key commands to automate repetitive tasks. CopyAgent has an estimated street price of $39 and is available for download from Connectix's web site.
