An iBook With a Wider Screen and Colors This Summer?

According to this News.Com article citing Bloomberg News, a Taiwan laptop manufacturer named Alpha Top claims to have an order for just that from Apple for a July delivery. The article further states that Alpha Top makes about 700,000 laptops with over half going to Apple. Most people have expected that Apple would eventually add some colors to the new iBook's white but to offer a wider screen so soon seems a bit unlikely given that iBooks are selling like hotcakes. We wonder if Alpha Top's days with Apple are numbered over this. [Dana Baggett]
