Apple Should Consider Dropping its Contractor MarketSource
"I sent this off earlier today to MarketSource, the program is not going well.
"I am e-mailing you to inform you that I am stepping down and relinquishing my position as Marketsource/Apple Power Rep. I am stepping down for the following reasons:
"1. Since MarketSource had the change in management, the excitement level and enthusiasm has dropped to almost nothing. The fun that was once there is now gone.
"2. I have a Mac and probably most of the people if not all since they are working to promote Apple products do as well. We are sent PC formatted files which makes it difficult and time consuming to open and read. In the future (if any) you might want to send Mac users Mac-formatted files or at least in Adobe Acrobat PDF files.
"3. With my work and especially my other commitments and obligations to the ministry, I am left with very little time.
"4. I also do web site design and development for local companies and would like to pursue this further.
"I do this with great regret, I have been evangelizing the Mac for roughly 10 years now. I am what you call a Mac enthusiast. People get agitated because I compare everything to Apple's standards, and my wife gets tired of me talking about Apple so much.
"Given the past articles written, and moving trends, I dont feel Apple is going to keep the MarketSource contract nor the Apple Power Rep. program going on much longer.
"I have YET to be paid for my store visits at both Circuit City stores and both Sears stores on Nov. 25th and submitted on Nov. 27th. If you check the web site you will see that they are there.
"Please do not contact me regarding this, I believe the above explanations should be sufficient enough."
