[1:00p 1/28] Apple Deal at Sears TODAY Only: From Dana Baggett, "Sears has a Home Sale flyer in my Sunday newspaper offering on the inside front cover - not mentioned on the cover - 'Super Shopping Pass Sunday Only 10% off everything, even sale and clearance prices.'

We have cautioned MO! readers before that Sears usual Apple prices are above Apple's MSRP so this may not be a big deal. However, reports elsewhere indicate that Sears has marked several present Apple iMac and iBook models as EOL (End of Life) and may be selling them off. I know my local Sears has a 300 MHz Blueberry iBook as a demo. So, who knows what a smart Apple shopper might find at Sears. 10% off a sale price might be worth the trip."

"In tech support article 4468, Connectix notes that CVGS will not work with the new NVidia-equipped Macs."

"An article on the Connectix web-site (technical support article 4463) acknowledges that their Virtual Game Station will not play some PlayStation games after you install Apple's iTunes. They say it only affects games with a separate audio track, and that they are working on a solution. For now, their recommended fix is to downgrade the 'Apple CD/DVD Driver' from the version 1.4.3 installed by iTunes to 1.4 (from Mac OS 9.1)."
