Calls for Motorola to Give Up Chip Business

From a Forbes.com article, "In the wake of its $825 million deal to sell its Integrated Information Systems Group to defense contractor General Dynamics, the cry is getting louder from Wall Street analysts for Motorola to get out of the business of making semiconductors." Motorola's chip business has been losing money this year. What would this mean for Apple's future G4/G5 CPUs? Could Apple take over Motorola's chip business?
