From the Dark Side--District Court Denied M$'s Request for Stay
which means that unless Microsoft appeals this decision, if it can, then the penalty rehearing for the convicted illegal monopolist can start soon in spite of M$'s pending appeal of its conviction before the Supreme Court. The District Court decided that M$ failed to show any significant harm by moving ahead. Here is the court order. Could the scheduled release of Windows XP in October (or in September as an OEM computer OS) be affected? Not likely in our view. [Dana Baggett]
