LCD iMacs at Macworld 2002 SF?

Go2Mac is claiming this to be true. While Go2Mac's prediction track record is pretty questionable, we stated well over a year ago that the next iMac form factor will include an LCD screen. The new iMac will come when a 14-15" LCD drops in price to around $300, about where it is today, and when the CRT iMac's sales have dropped to well under 100,000 in a quarter. The latter has not happened as of the last quarter and we won't know the results of the current (first) quarter until around MWSF. We believe, based on the size of the iBook, that the next iMac's form factor will be a styled, full size keyboard with ports, hard drive and slot-loading optical drive and, like the Maine iBook contract deal that we posted Sunday night for our Monday edition, you read it here first.
