Steve Jobs Reaffirmed Apple's Commitment to Education
in his NECC keynote address yesterday morning. He made no new hardware announcements but he did describe in detail the new PowerSchool software that Apple bought earlier this year. It is web based and cross platform and as such needs no local network nor special school server and no district level server either. Her stated that education is becoming more mobile and that Apple is number one in portable sales to education, number one in wireless networking sales and number one in digital media.
