What's Happening at MicroMat

, maker of TechTool Pro 3 and one of our all-around favorite Mac software companies? Dana Baggett reports that he has received nothing from MicroMat during quarter 1 or quarter 2 on his quarterly annual subscription. Furthermore, he hasn't even received a response to his inquiries from the company that we have touted numerous times on Macs Only! as a model for customer service. Perhaps MicroMat is burning all of its midnight oil on Drive 10, MicroMat's Mac OS X native disk and hardware utility that is in the works and it is expected to be out this summer. Hopefully, we will see Drive 10 demonstrated at Macworld. [Dana Baggett] [Update: From Pierre Baguis, "I asked Micromat about Drive 10 three weeks ago. They replied that they hope to release the product within this month (May). Let us see!"]
