CompUSA/Apple Ad Flyer in Error

From Bill Jensen, "... in today's mail was a spiffy compusa/apple ad, showing the new powerbooks, plus other accessories, and offering a free gift just for stopping by the apple "shop" at compusa. So we look closely at the ad, and they have the base station, with the base station sku number, for $99.99, and the airport card for $299.99. Hmmm. not a good job of editing. so we go to the tysons store (as I had to pick up a gift card at Morton's anyway) and they were very nice, but eventually found a fax in the back from their home office indicating that it was a pricing error. They also did not have the free gift (a mug) so instead, what they gave me was a $25 gift card since they didn't have the gift, and the pricing was incorrect. That was a marked difference from the Fair Oaks store, which said to come back on saturday for the mug, and then said that they had a sign in the mac dept indicating the pricing error of the ad. we could not find the sign, but did not really need the airport."
