EarthDesk is a cool background application that shows the globe in a variety of projections and either as the degree of vegetation or with political boundaries. The first product of its kind to support both Classic MacOS and OS X, EarthDesk replaces the Mac's static desktop picture with ever-changing, beautiful maps of the world with correct sun and moon illumination.
