Faster Wireless Networking Coming in May 2003

according to this ZDNet article. The 802.11g Wi-Fi standard has finally been approved in draft. It brings a speed of 54 Mbps instead of 802.11b's (AirPort) 11 Mbps. The new standard will be backward compatible with AirPort. [Dana Baggett]
