Maine School iBook Program is Doing Well

and will not be cut out according to this Portland Press Herald article despite a major state budget deficit. The Chair of the Legislature's Appropriations Committee thinks highly of the program so only some trimming is likely. Next year both 7th and 8th graders in all of Maine's schools will have iBooks.
