SimpleFTP v1.2 Update

is available for download. SimpleFTP 1.2 is a shareware FTP client for OS X modeled on the RFC 959 File Transfer Protocol (FTP) Internet standard, that emphasizes simplicity and ease of use. What's new in 1.2:

- New Set Permissions function. Allows user to set file permission on servers that support it.
- Fixed some file sizes not being displayed properly on the file list control.
- Fixed another compatibility problem with wu-ftpd 2.6.2
- Local invisible files are no longer sent automatically as part of a batch upload. They can still be uploaded manually. This is to prevent invisible files such as the local '.DS_Store' file from being uploaded during a Batch upload. An invisible file upload to a Mac OSX FTP server prevented the user from being able to delete a remote folder since the file becomes invisible on the remote system.
- Reinserted workaround for the time manager bug that reappeared in Mac OS v10.1.5. Fast file transfers of over 100 MBs should go through correctly now.
- Added Refresh command to the contextual menu.
- Updated documentation to reflect the new options.

We've used SimpleFTP since it was first released for Mac OS X.
