UMAX Scanner OS X Drivers Revisited 2

From the X4U List, "The only hassle was having to open the scanned files from within Photoshop. Then this morning I decided to change the default application for viewing tiff files to Photoshop. Now when I scan an image with VueScan, the image opens automatically in Photoshop. Scanning is now as convenient as it was on OS9."
