Weird iCal Behavior
was pointed out by reader Bob Unger. While others have noted that the start date for daylight savings time in th US Holidays subscription calendar was wrong, Bob noted that it is now fixed but only partly. First, "Refresh" under the Calendar menu updates the US Holidays calendar by deleting the wrong February 17, 2003, date. However, doing so does not include the correct April 6, 2003, date. If one deletes then resubscribes the US Holidays calendar, the correct DLST start date of April 6, 2003, appears but only in the week and day views, not the month view. Obviously iCal needs a bit more work.
