XLR8 Introduces 550 MHz "Sawtooth" G4 Upgrade Program

Now users can upgrade their 350, 400, 450 or 500 MHz Sawtooth (AGP graphics and Gigabit Ethernet models) Power Macintosh G4 processor card to 550 MHz power according to a press release from Nick Peart of XLR8. The cost is $299 with a trade in of your older CPU. We have asked XLR8 if the upgrade will work in a G4 Cube. [Update: David Reynolds, Product Manager XLR8, wrote that its not yet been qualified for the Cube but they are looking into it.]
