Eastern Quebec Launches School iBook Program

According to this Canada NewsWire press release, Quebec's Eastern Townships School Board approved buying 5000 iBooks over three years to equip all 3rd grade to level 5 high school students with an iBook. This is the first school board-wide laptop program in Canada and it was arranged in partnership with Apple Canada. The program mirrors that of the State of Maine and Henrico County, VA. [Dana Baggett]
