FCC Evaluating Internet Phone Calls

according to this AP article carried on Yahoo news. The FCC will decide whether an internet phone call is subject to the same restrictions and taxes as a phone call over telephone company lines. Internet calls using dial-up and DSL access actually travel over the very same lines, at least locally. This should be interesting. [Dana Baggett]
