Maine iBook Program Huge Education Success

Here is just one more success story in the Christian Science Monitor about the iBook program embarked on by the State of Maine last school year. Maine contracted with Apple to supply some 33,000 iBooks plus AirPort networking, training and support to every seventh and eigth grader and their teachers in every middle school in the state. This past year every seventh grader got an iBook courtesy of the state. This fall every seventh grader will again get an iBook so that all seventh and eigth graders will have them.
