Marriott to Give Free Broadband Internet at 1200 Hotels

according to this Yahoo News article. Marriott will provide free high-speed internet connections at 1200 Courtyard, Residence Inn, TownePlace Suites and SpringHill Suites by the end of 2003 and at 500 Fairfield Inns by the end of 2004. Many of those properties already have broadband at $9.95 per 24-hour period. The top shelf Marriott Renaisance Hotels will still carry the $9.95 charge. This is great news for road warriors.
