MUMenu 1.1 on the Fritz Sunday

We had a problem with losing the right side of our Menu Bar beginning Sunday afternoon. Dana Baggett deduced that MUMenu 1.1 was causing the problem. Deleting MUMenu stopped the loss of the Menu Bar's right side. MUMenu is a neat application for keeping track of new updates on MacUpdate.com. [Update: Joel Mueller wrote that it has been fixed. [Update 7:30p ET] Pixar Goes Intel for its server rendering farm, dropping Sun workstations according to this CNet article. Pixar, Steve Jobs other company, bought Rackspace blade servers based on the Intel 2.8 GHz Xeon CPU and running Linux. This is interesting in that Jobs company dropped RISC processors running Unix for CISC processors running Linux. Macs use RISC processors and the Mac OS X is Unix-based. [Dana Baggett]
