MacWireless announced POWER OVER ETHERNET (POE) EXTREME. This new product allows mounting your AirPort Extreme base station where there maybe no electric power outlet, up to 331 feet away. No software involved. Provides its own 24 volts power supply. If you've ever had a dropped connection or found yourself just outside of your AirPort coverage area, here's your solution! The price is $89.98.

We have used the $29.98 POE Classic with our snow Apple Base Station for several months. It is a fine product.
