Two Convicted of Internet Spam Fraud
and one was found not guilty in the first federal spam conviction according to this AP article. One of the convicts received a sentence of 9 years in jail. They had been accused of spamming milllions of people for useless or phony software, amassing a fortune of over $24 million. [Dana Baggett]
